This is actually a legit outstanding problem with Toshibas…
Eh. They didn’t phrase it well but it’s a legit problem. I’m sure they meant that after taking the battery out, they put it back in and tried turning it on. Or maybe I cling to remnants of faith in users.
Indeed. “I can turn it on, but the screen remains black” says to me they’re turning it back on and still not getting an image.
What we have here is a failure to communicate!
They do instruct you on the Toshiba website to remove the battery, put it back in, and try turning it on again. HOPEfully that’s what he did….you never know with some people!
