Yeah, it’s a liquid nitrogen cooling system where the mobo is packed in an insulation material to prevent the cold from causing condensation (which of course will cause shorting). The LN made the socket brittle and he’s snapped it pulling up the insulation material. I believe the white canisters to the right of the picture are the liquid nitrogen containers. ; )
