Indeed Jake. Went through a old box last week and discovered about 30 old games (Things like, Homeworld, Arcanum,Starsiege,Duke3D,Black & White) just from that single box, not including STEAM,GoG, Desura and the more recent boxed games that aren’t still packed away from having moved.
Heck I’ve still got a huge box full of ZX Spectrum cassettes as well. 😀
But, um, wow. This is a perfect example of incorrect stereotyping. I could list my stats, and when you said ‘I have a girlfriend’ I’d laugh at you and tell you that I’ve been married, had a kid, been divorced, and gotten into another relationship, and that it didn’t change my gaming stats any.
In what universe is 117 games a lot? For a PC gamer, 250+ games is common for more enthusiastic gamers, due to Steam sales.
I have a girlfriend. 😛
It’s the consolers with games that are resold rather than replayed, skewing the market.
It’s a lot for console gamers

What really burns is when you say “I have a girlfriend and she has more games than you do.”

Pfffft. I have 2 360s, an original Xbox, PS3, no idea how many games, and 2 laptops, AND I have a boyfriend -.- silly stereotypes.
