That would be funny if that message implied it took 2 days to install the updates. It’s a reminder the machine should be rebooted within 2 days for the updates to complete.
Its actually a built in feature for the days delayed restart. People kept griping about when they were supposed to restart their computer after updates installed. This way people aren’t without production time.
Fail indeed. I do a lot of hating on Windows 8. But in this case I think the person who posted this need a little bit technical knowledge to comprehend the message that is being displayed. The short of it is Windows will log you off in 2 day to complete the updates. Its a countdown. Nothing more, Nothing less.

Um, this is actually normal. It’s same thing as previous versions of Windows asking you to restart after updates are applied.
Not so normal when it takes 2 days.
Very normal when this is nothing more then a countdown to rebooting to complete the install.
