Bad start to the day for any server admin [pic]

 

The only time I remember seeing something like this was when I was setting up a disk array and the drives were still initializing (or were not yet configured).  This?  This is not good.  My thoughts go out to you and your colon…

    As a dell server tech support, 5 drives with amber lights…OUCH. I haven’t seen one that bad…yet.

      Yeah, I’ve lost two at the same time but not five. Probably a backplane issue.
