Judging by the looks of the desk, the 3D printer, and the wood inside of the 3D printer…This is a shop. Where you build things. So….why would the “Head of technology” have an office based inside of a shop?
I would give them the benefit of the doubt and say it is a technology classroom and could easily be a quote from the head of the technology department in a a school. The dust shouldn’t necessarily stop it working but it will make your IT engineer (me) hate you when I have to fix the disgusting thing.

Agreed. This is a reach. NTM, I’ve seen much more dust on computers in normal placements.

It’s not the dust, it’s the RM parts.
