lol, I had several. In fact, the last one I had, was attached to a display telling you what speed your clock was running at. With a stock 486DX2 and that turbo button you could get a whopping 66Mhz!!! That said… it really wasnt turbo, that’s the stock speed of that proc. deselecting it ran it at 33Mhz. Did anyone ever run without the “Turbo” button on?
Yes, there were some games that were designed to ‘wait’ not based on time but by clock cycles or by some computational operations, so they ran too fast on faster machines. Hence slowing the cpu down had it’s uses :-P.

I had a Commodore 64 (and eventually 128). I missed the turbo button years.
