Right, but this person’s post was like saying “condoms aren’t reliable, so I’m not going to wear one.” You have to have some protection…otherwise, you’re inviting things like Antivirus 2010 XP Pro Security Advisor to install themselves.
Antivirus 2010 was actually the name of one of the worst malwares out there… in 2011 they upgraded. It was one of those fake AVs that tells you you’re infected and will keep popping up and blocking stuff until you pay them money for the full version. Hard to clean.

Not completely false, Anti virus systems are not fully reliable
