Having to answer stupid questions just to get the removal tool for Norton was more than I could take that morning. I was removing it because it was flagging a legit program as malicious, Dragon Naturally Speaking.

The fact that you have to actually download another ‘tool’ to uninstall a product is just plain ridiculous.
It’s almost as if Norton is saying, “Yo dog, I heard you like tools, so I made tools for your tools so you can work on your tools by using tools and then look for more tools to remove all your tools.”
I did this once, Because it had copied and paste type answers, and I was like
Me: Because I F***ing hate you” Dumb robot!!!
Robot: Then it said, Sir I am not a robot.
Me: Oh, Seriously?
Non-Robot: Yeah.
Me: Well I don’t hate you, just your product. Sorry for calling you a robot.
Norton “Removal” Tool… Don’t they mean Norton “we’ll uninstall the most obvious product, but install more bloatware on your PC in the process that you’ll never see unless you know to look for it” Tool?
The ONLY reason Norton hasn’t gone under is federal contracts and stupid people…

It’s built into the HIRENS boot cd. Use that.
