That’s not crappy code, its obfuscated. When someone tries to protect their code from being able to be copied they use these tools which mess with all the function names, add in fake code, and rewrtites all the text.
But you don’t write that by hand, like the guy in the vid ;-).
Can’t tell if that’s bullcrap code or just another language, or some combination of both.
