We had a user who kept getting a corrupt OST file. When we went to check out the problem this is what we found.

You missed blacking out the name under archives.

Had co-workers like this. They use Deleted folder as a “catch-all” instead of making individualized folders. Lazy and dangerous.

i have 84,099 items in my deleted folder, doesn’t seem to slow me down 🙂 i think it is set to auto-archive yearly (so that is just 1 year)

@Beth563: And then when the corporate retention policy auto-deletes said items, they throw a hissy fit and expect the email admin to wave a magic wand and put it all back the way it was. *eyeroll*

I have 5018850 items in my work inbox ….I don´t see why it should be a problem.
(Of course I use gmail and not some shitty Microsoft product)
