A few years ago I was working at a local tech shop and a woman came through and bought a wireless router.  A few days later she came back in with her laptop and the router and claimed it didn’t work the way she needed and she wanted her money back.  We tested the laptop, it worked fine on our wireless.  We plugged in her router and everything looked great.

Questioned her some more on her setup to try to figure out where the problem was.

“My boss has these blocks that keep me away from my websites, so I bought this router and set it up and home and connected it to my laptop, but when I get to work it keeps showing no connection!”

She lived ten miles from her job.
