  1. Every once in a while I’ll hear someone shout accusations that I, or someone on my team had been using a lag switch – not because we’re good, far from it, but due to someone’s connection the match is laggy (for everyone) and they’re just being a baby about it. I honestly just thought they were internet folklore.

  2. Nice, all it is is a friggin light switch with cat5 cables at both ends. Unless there’s over 100 bucks of chips on the back of this thing this is no way high tech enough to do anything but well do nothing because a light switch can only pass electricity and not data…….

      • data aren’t electrical currents … they’re merely “1 and 0’s put together in the right order” …

BUT data can be passed on via electrical currents (and so many other way …)

        Learn your facts straight …

        • (Corrections in caps) “Data ISN’T JUST electric currents, DIGITAL DATA is transmitted through 1’s and 0’s put together in the right order”

Learn to construct sentences that make sense.

What do you mean by data anyway? Anything can be data really, so it can be sent in any way

          • Lies! Inside the NIC is a little gnome that paints the number 1 or number 0 on a little bit of paper and stuff it into the cable where it is dragged along by nano-ferrets to the recipient. That switch pumps progressive jazz into the cable which drives the ferrets nuts! Ferrets hate jazz.

          • Though, the “ones and zeros” can be considered electrical currents, so we’ll call it a draw

    • It works by interrupting the signal when you are the host by flipping the switch, you will still be able to move because you are the host and when you flip the switch back the server re-connects and you will be wherever you moved to.
