The sad part is that she didn’t even pick that bad of a candidate to ruin. The HP Pavilion series of laptop’s are terrible (video chip set kills its self, as well as numerous issues with other components not being cooled properly and just generally poor build quality) and hopefully the owner will have skipped replacing the keyboard and bought a whole new laptop.
“replacing the keyboard? you mean clipping the keys back on.”
You’ve obviously never actually done this on a laptop. Hint: those keys do not just “clip” back on like you hope they do. THAT keyboard is ruined. And I agree with Paddy about just replacing the whole damn thing.
I am a computer tech i have been working with computers for over twenty years and yes you can just clip the keys back on more than once i have had to do this to other peoples computers as well as my own and i often remove keys to clean the board but after it being done so many times yes you would have to replace the keyboard which is not all that hard to do
i have. which is why i know that they do just clip on, or you have to slightly lift the white holders and clip it but none the less it looks like he has only pulled the keys off. no biggy

Actually, on the HP, they DO, you just press down, and they snap back into place. I’ve had to do this to many HP laptops.

LOL first thing I noticed as well…it’s a DV series so just toss it.
To be honest though..it’s not an HP problem, but an nvidia problem. HP’s were not the only ones to suffer the same fate.
Kid that age unsupervised around a laptop? It’s a choking hazard…
Idiot bought an HP. Idiot had a kid. Idiot gets what Idiot deserves.
hahha reminds me of my daughter when she thought her toy laptop was dirty and chucked it in the sink. LOL
