I’ve always wondered why the monitor input cables have the threaded fasteners to keep them connected and the power cables don’t. I mean, it’s not like you have to reboot your video feed if it disconnects, and it just makes it bulky and hard to fit things around it, as this picture illustrates so well. Power cables coming undone can have disastrous consequences; just ask anyone who has just finished a thesis paper when the power goes out…
I hope the person who did this realizes the like 6 other USB sockets to the left would have worked all the same… and they mutilated a helpless VGA cable for the luls.
