Oh, this is nothing. A wholesaler I once had to deal with, only accepted unsubscription to their very persistent newsletters, when you could enter your personal code from your membership card (witch took them 1,5 months to send by post). After I finally received my membership card so I could unsubscribe from their stupid newsletters I got a message that my unsubscription request could take up to 3 WEEKS (!) to process!!! WTF!
